The men of the church get together twice a month, every first and third Monday at 6:30PM, for a small dinner and some time going over issues that influence the lives of men and their families. The format includes small group prayer and sharing, large group discussion on subjects. Here's some of the Subjects we've covered in the last year:
Some Testimonies to share about the Men's Meeting:"As odd as it may sound the thing I find most encouraging about the Men's Meeting every month is the fact that so many men come faithfully. I feel more spiritual just being around other believers who want to better serve God. This fellowship is in stark contrast to the work place and even to long periods of my life in the past. I'm sure many in the group experience the same phenomenon as I have: In the busy every day world it feels like an inconvenience to break with the normal routine and be at the church at 6:30 on a weeknight. Its essential for men to have time where we can have
a discussion about the challenges we face in this world we
live. This meeting gives us a forum to discuss issues and
to focus our responsibilities as men and leaders.
